This move is clearly a gamble. AiScReam still is viral to an extent, having around 2mil views extra on every Ai💜Scream upload per month or so. So having Furirin graduate (a core member and one of the big reasons it went as viral as it did ("choco mint girl")) and then adding two girls from the other two remaining active groups is a risk.
On one hand it clearly shows that staff wants this to be a general cross-gen group and if they remain a viral hit, can bring a lot more attention to Hasunosora (who is about to be shaken up real strong again) and Ikizulive (which was teased a year ago and didn't even start until early May so we're not even really a year into their activities, so this would be huge for them).

All in all it's... kind of exciting? I don't think we've had a proper gamble like this in a while and I'm all for seeing where it leads, especially because I already liked AiScReam.

I have no idea what Furirin is thinking but wow, personally I think it’s also pretty wild if it’s her decision to leave. I’ve always viewed her as the go-to “I’ll take literally any opportunity with Love Live!” person. She has by far the most subunit and convention appearances.
