Hey all! I recently finally unsealed this Lanzhu towel after a couple months, and I wanted to know if there was any way to maybe straighten this and remove the creases? Or should I keep it as it is? I'm still not sure if I want to display it or keep it safely preserved where I usually hid it, lol.

Elaborating: don’t get the whole thing wet, as the fabric dye may bleed/run and ruin the piece. Check for any rust of surfaces the tapestry will be in contact with to avoid rust staining. place a cotton towel or old cotton shirt on top and gently iron it at low heat with steam! this will protect the print but make sure to test on a corner first just in case 🙂↕️ i often iron my cosplays with a cotton press cloth on top to avoid melting or staining them bc i have an old crappy iron that sometimes likes to spit rusty goo out the bottom 😭 LOL

They're pretty useful for flattening stuff out that you don't want to hit directly with hot metal. You'd hang the tapestry in midair and move the hot steamer over the back at a short distance. It's the same line of thinking as the shower steam suggestion but you can fill the steamer with water beforehand and control where the steam goes too.
