I like Midnight Heart but it also makes me sad because it could be great with better art/animation. The characters are great both from a writing and a voice acting perspective, but the visuals refuse to hold up their end of the bargain. If they were it would be competing with Polar Opposites for my favorite romcom of the season easily.

Aside from that many of the scenes like mc entering broadcasting club room for the first time, girls having a convo with him, him spotting nene practicing the lines, her kissing him (she doesn't) etc is much much better done in the manga.

Interesting to see Tamon fall out of the top spot after holding it for multiple weeks. I wonder what changed for the AT voters.
Meanwhile really happy to see Witch climb 2 spots, more people should watch it. I know a lot of anime fans are hardcore into the shonen side of things, but god the writing is so shockingly good. And I only remember posts from source fans being happy with the adaptation which is always a good sign (see how frustrated Midnight Heart fans are as an example of the opposite).

My biggest pleasant surprise is 【Oshi no Ko】S3 doing this well basically everywhere when it seemed like there's been a source reader in every person's ear telling them it's downhill from here. Even its MAL score has been steadily increasing over the course of this season (currently an 8.56 when it started off at like 8.4 (?)).
Also in Top 5 of both charts is Tune In to the Midnight Heart. Which I can respect since the love for it isn't as strong on .
It took broadcast delays of the two biggest shows of the season, but Sentenced to Be a Hero is back in the Top 10! And In the Clear Moonlit Dusk!
