Breaking it down I guess it depends who is better at handling balls, Kanan or Ai.
Aqours does have You, but she also has a card where she got her ass kicked in basketball so there's that. Mari and Chika can probably be good support then have the last slot rotate between the first years, Riko and Dia. Who would all be pretty average, maybe Hanamaru will be the weakest player.
Nijigasaki has Kanata, who is probably a one quarter warrior. Setsuna and Lanzhu will probably be good support. Karin will be a good choice since she's the tallest raibu, Emma too I guess. First years aren't great. Shizuku is shown to suck at sports, Kasumi is Kasumi, Rina lol and Shioriko should be okay. Latest Mia card shows that she's out of shape gulping all those burgers. Ayumu would probably be average too.
I would probably go with Nijigasaki winning. Someone can break down muse or Liella if they really want to.

Let's think of the best team that every group could do

Eli, Nozomi, Umi, Rin, Honoka
Good team, Nozomi would be the best at catching rebounds, but I think they are a bit unbalanced. Nozo and Honk are physically heavy and strong but athletically meh, Umi and Rin are very athletic but too lightweight. Eli is probably the best player and Honk might be good once she gets the hang of it.

Mari, Kanan, You, Chika, Yoshiko
Amazing team. The first four players are super strong, the fifth player would be the weak link no matter who you put, so I picked Yoshiko because she has strenght and aggresivity, she manhandled Dia and Ruby at the same time so despite the fact that she isn't very athletic she would follow her opponents and the ball very well. Anyway, the other 4 are very strong, Chika is the weakest but she's probably good at making team plays.

Ai, Karin, Emma, Setsuna, Kasumi
Lots of potential, but their players are all over the place. As they always repeat, they aren't a team, they're very diverse and it shows. Karin and Emma have natural physical advantages and are physically fit but I don't think they would fit in a team sport, Setsu and Kasu are fit and competitive but have a very bad height disadvantage. Ai is undoubtedly the best player, and Karin is pretty competitive, tall and fit, she could turn out good but besides the Diva team they don't have much against Aqours or Muse. If we count the new girls, sub Emma with Lanzhu and maybe Kasu with Mia, who's also short but also an aggressive and angry American. If Haruka is on the stands put Kanata in anyone's place besides Ai's.

They don't stand a chance. Keke is a dead weight, Sumire is definitely fit and might surprise us like with the rap, Ren is fit but probably sucks at sports, Chisato is their best player but too short and light, Kanon makes a good duo supporting Chisato but they have no chance.

She's an ice skater. They need coordination and insane leg strength. She'd probably be their best, nevermind that she's the tallest.
On the other hand, I see no reason to assume Kanon is any good at sports.

Probably final will be Niji vs Aqours.

Niji have Ai, Kanata and Lanzhu.

Aqours have You, Kanan and Dia.

Liella not that strong with Keke not fit, Kanon and Chisato too short. Ren probably dont know how to play. Only Sumire are OP.
