Honestly happy this change is happening. I am assuming this is when the tweeting gimmick is slowly being removed and they will move onto different medias to promote Ikizuraibu. Tweeting gimmick got old really quickly and I really want them to move onto a manga/anime/light novel/literally anything else. I love Ikizuraibu and they really do deserve more then just tweets.

What I have been expecting all along is that those tweets are supposed to be the modern equivalent of magazine columns that were used multiple times in the "beta phase" of each of the projects' 1st or so year. (this was definitely the case for μ’s, Aqours and PDP->Niji)
The problem right now is that I don't see a more effective replacement coming up within the next several months (unless we are talking a late-announced drop-in of an anime in Summer or even Spring 2026...it happened with MyGO so why not BlueBird too LMAO) - of the new multimedia pathways officially announced, only the manga seems to have a format that promises more than just the superficial impressions we get out of the tweets about the girls, and even that is highly uncertain. The “fan book” is likely to be just the collection of tweets in paper format, perhaps with some additions as extra content.
Likewise the short slice-of-life videos aren’t contributing much to my own impression of the girls beyond some stereotype personalities.
I really think this project needs a character story with more substances in it, and needs it fast, now that they are into their 2nd year. It doesn't need to be an anime for now, but tweets and short videos just ain't gonna cut it.

An unusual choice on the surface. Feels like it will simultaneously make it trickier to keep track of individual characters through the Tweets while also burying official announcements under a wall of Tweets.
However, this point assumes that the change in account will not see any change in the actual Tweeting habits of the characters.
